Fairest Lord Jesus
“Fairest Lord Jesus” is also known as “Beautiful Savior.” The tune was originally a folk song, and the text is from the German Schönster Herr Jesu (Most beautiful Lord Jesus). The American composer, Dale Wood , created the prelude arrangement for organ which is featured on this video.
Fairest Lord Jesus, Ruler of all nature,
O Thou of God and man the Son,
Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor,
Thou, my soul’s glory, joy and crown.
Beautiful Savior! Lord of all the nations!
Son of God and Son of Man!
Glory and honor, praise, adoration,
Now and forever more be Thine.
